Belly Fat Be Gone - 3 Top Tummy Trimming Tips

Belly Fat. It's the bane of our lives. The first fat to go on, the last fat to (if ever) leave. It takes tactical planning and determination to deal with belly fat, but it can be done.

How? It's straightforward and simple. Try these 3 tactics.

1. Dress for your body shape. That is the body you have now, not the svelte one which belongs to you in your wildest dreams.

If belly fat is your big worry, do not, repeat, do not, wear tight fitting clothes that follow the curve of your ample midsection unless you have the bizarre and inexplicable urge to look like a crude stone carving of the earth mother.

Wear clothes that do not cut you off at the middle. Long lines are best. If you must wear stripes, make sure they go up and down rather than round and round and round.

Don't wear anything that belts or gathers around your waist until you actually have a defined waist to show off.

2. Change your eating habits. Eat breakfast and plenty of it, so long as it consists mainly of complex carbs, good fats and protein.

Lots of diets encourage people to eat a different breakfast 7 days a week, but who has time to plan that? Habit will serve your purpose much better than variety.

You have more chance of success if you eat the same type of thing 5 days a week with a break from routine on the weekend. A good cereal or whole wheat toast with some fruit and maybe even a bit of cheese will do the job for you.

Eat healthy snacks for morning and afternoon tea and have a proper lunch. Cut back your dinner so that carbs are a virtual stranger to your plate and have a light fruit, yoghurt or protein shake desert around an hour after your evening meal. This desert delay tactic will help keep the late night snacking cravings away.

3. Get some regular exercise every day. Walk your belly off one determined step at a time. Realise that measurable results will take some considerable time to achieve, but if you don't start today, that's another day misspent in wishing and hoping and procrastinating. What a waste of a perfectly good life.

If you dress for your current body shape you will feel better about yourself right away. Spend the time and the money to find clothes that suit you.

It is so worthwhile and the new stylish items you buy will not lie despised and neglected at the back of your cupboard. You will wear them with a spring in your step and a smile on your face. You deserve nice clothes. Go out there and get them.

Take immediate advantage of your clothing induced self esteem boost by paying close attention to good eating habits and you will have energy to burn. Choose nutritious food that you already love or can learn to enjoy.

Get yourself moving. No excuses. Lolling about at home with a fatty treat and a tasty beverage balanced on your tummy, moaning to your belly about how fat it has become is not going to firm and flatten the offending body part.

Only a bit of effort on your part will do that.

Dress well, eat well and take regular brisk exercise and your belly fat will slowly but surely be gone.
