A GAME CHANGER! How to Burn Fat and Build Muscle WITHOUT Diet or Exercise!

Do you know why Olympian Michael Phelps can eat over 12,000 calories a day, and have abs? (Hint: it's not his workout, or his resting metabolism.) Or how climbers of Mt. Everest can lose up to 1/3 of their body-weight in a day? (Hint: it's not physical exertion burning those calories.) Guess why scientists in Antarctica are required to eat at least 6,000 calories a day, just to maintain body-weight?

It's the same mechanism that is allowing people to help burn fat and build muscle without diet or exercise; it's the exciting new field called "thermal loading."

Thermal loading is the process of controlling the temperature on and around the human body, to produce positive, beneficial results such as increased metabolism, burning of calories and fat, and the refueling of muscles. This is typically done by exposing the body to brief cold stimulation. Some do this with ice baths, some take cold showers. A new device called the "Cool Fat Burner" claims to induce this effect.

Brief cold exposure can activate a unique, special kind of fat called "brown fat," also called brown adipose tissue, or "B.A.T." for short. BAT is found in small amounts around the collar bones, neck, and upper back. It is a type of fat that is actually related to muscle tissue, and its primary purpose is to generate heat during cold therapy. BAT creates heat by burning off glucose (blood sugar) and also by burning regular, "white" fat, or "white adipose tissue." (WAT, or white adipose tissue, is the regular fat we think of as fat; the fat on our stomachs, butt, thighs, triceps, and so on. WAT is what leads to big guts, cellulite, and being obese.) So BAT burns WAT, ie, brown fat burns regular white fat, to generate heat. It does this as a result of proper thermal loading.

There are more benefits to controlled cold stimulation. It can also increase a hormone called "adiponectin." Adiponectin burns fat, but also sends glucose into muscles, helping them to refuel for your next workout.

Thermal loading can also induce something called "skeletal muscle uncoupling." This is where your muscles work on the cellular, chemical level to generate heat, again by burning glucose, and then, fat tissue. This process is subconscious; you don't notice it, and your muscles don't physical move or contract, but still burn calories all the while.

As you can see, thermal loading works by several ways to burn off glucose (blood sugar) in order to generate heat. This is how some people use precise cold exposure to help deal with "cheat days" on their diets, when they binge on junk food. Engage in thermal loading, to help burn off extra glucose before it can be stored as fat!

There are even more interesting potential benefits to thermal loading beyond fat-burning, weight-loss, and enhanced physical performance. World-class athletes have used cold therapy for decades to help enhance exercise recovery. The cold can help flush lactic acid away from the muscles, as well as decrease general inflammation. Some studies imply that thermal loading can enhance the immune system, boosting cells that help fight illness and disease. Other evidence implies that thermal loading may even help with cellular longevity. Studies are ongoing.

In the near future, anyone interested in no work, no discipline, effortless fat burning, muscle building, exercise recovery and weight-loss will be harnessing the science and power of thermal loading.
